Do you have to pull the compressor to get to the backplate?
ReplyDeleteMost likely. The bolts are 3 inches long and the control valve is part of the valve plate assembly. Also, if any dirt gets between the top or bottom gasket you will have a leak as the bolts are torqued to 10-15 foot pounds. But i guess if you are careful and have enough room you could.
